1) Why would a company develop a new product? Can you give me an example of a company that has recently launched a new product (in the last 6 months)?
2) Compile a list of at least four reasons products fail.

1. List 8 products you buy regularly and the price you normally pay. What price would get you to buy more of this product? What price would have you buying less?

2. Find an example of a company who used or uses marketing skimming and an example of a company that used or uses penetration pricing. (Provide the company name and the products they used these strategies with). What would be the potential benefits of this strategy for them?
